STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today is Wednesday, September 29, 2021. It is a C Day. Students should be at 52 steps.
Valerie Dickerson and Avah Ballinger have birthdays today. Happy birthday, Valerie and Avah.
Homecoming is next week. Elementary will be having dress up days next week as part of homecoming week. Monday will be pajama day; Tuesday will be movie character (dress as your favorite movie character); Wednesday is class color day (kindergarten—pink, 1st—orange, 2nd—yellow, 3rd—blue, 4th—red, 5th—purple, 6th—black); Thursday is Twin day (dress the same as another person), and Friday is School Spirit Day (wear school colors).
4th, 5th, and 6th grade basketball players….make sure to get signed up for winter basketball league by Thursday. Any questions, please see Mrs. Goldsmith.
Just a reminder that Fire Prevention Week is October 3-9. This year’s poster theme is “Learn the Sounds of Fire,” and students in grades kindergarten through grade 6 can participate in the poster contest. Students be sure to put your name on the back of the poster with teacher and grade. Deadline for posters will be Friday, October 8.
The fire department also invites families to an open house at the fire hall on October 7, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
FLU vaccine forms for CES students and staff, are due on Thursday, October 7.
The vaccine will be given on October 14.
For lunch today, we are having 1) Roast turkey and gravy or 2) Ham deli sub sandwich.
