Congratulations to this week’s Golden Ticket winners. Prizes will be handed out in the cafeteria during lunchtime. The winners are kindergarten—Jack Marzolf and Dodge Dieter; 1st Grade—Cooper Eisenman and Aiden Schumacher; 2nd grade—Meela Hoover and Miles Bernau; 3rd grade—Caleb Halloran and Jaydenn Davidson; 4th grade—Hudson Boyum and Zane Smith; 5th grade—Amity Lane and Mason Sula-Mehus; 6th grade—Catherine Schieffelbein and Sophia Goldsmith; and special area is Charlotte Snodgrass and Declan Eickhoff.


Homecoming is next week.  Elementary will be having dress up days next week as part of homecoming week.  Monday will be pajama day; Tuesday will be movie character (dress as your favorite movie character); Wednesday is class color day (kindergarten—pink, 1st—orange, 2nd—yellow, 3rd—blue, 4th—red, 5th—purple, 6th—black; Staff—maroon); Thursday is Twin day (dress the same as another person), and Friday is School Spirit Day (wear school colors).


Just a reminder that Fire Prevention Week is next week. This year’s poster theme is “Learn the Sounds of Fire,” and students in grades kindergarten through grade 6 can participate in the poster contest. Students be sure to put your name on the back of the poster with teacher and grade. Deadline for posters will be Friday, October 8.


The fire department also invites families to an open house at the fire hall on October 7, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.


  FLU vaccine forms for CES students and staff, are due on Thursday, October 7.

The vaccine will be given on October 14.


For lunch today, we are having 1) Hamburger on a bun or 2) Ham deli sub sandwich.
