FFA
Advisors: Stacy Fritz and Tim Willette
Chatfield FFA is an intra-curricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education. Our focus is on leadership, community service and the personal development of all students going through the program.
The Chatfield FFA has been a Top 10 Chapter in Minnesota for the past five years and was announced the Top Chapter (Premiere FFA Chapter of MN) in 2018. the Advisors and Supporters of our program are committed to providing top quality opportunities for our students that are relevant to what they need as individuals.
Chatfield FFA has Affiliated Membership meaning ALL students enrolled in an agriculture course automatically have their membership paid to the local, state and national FFA Organizations. This is one of the many ways that the Chatfield FFA provides equal opportunities for all students who may have an interest in the organization
The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change. But FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers; FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more. In fact, most of our members do not live on a farm. Each student who goes through our program has a personalized experience based upon their interest and needs. The greatest thing about FFA is that it can benefit ANYONE who chooses to participate no matter their career path.
