“Be careful what you pretend to be because you are what you pretend to be.”-Kurt Vonnegut

All Student Announcements (7-12):

If you are interested in getting a COVID-19 vaccine, vaccines will be offered at Chatfield High School and Chatfield Elementary School. The vaccine clinic will be September 15, with a second dosage on October 6.
Vaccine sign-up sheets are available here or may be picked up in the high school and elementary offices. All COVID vaccine sign-up sheets from parents need to be in the office by Friday, September 10 at 9 a.m. to ensure the correct number of doses at each site.

Attention all students: Delta is continuing the G.O.P.H.E.R. initiative this year!  Students can earn a G.O.P.H.E.R. card from any teacher by consistently displaying Gratitude, Optimism, Perseverance, Helpfulness, Education, or Respect.  Bring your card to Senor Jansen to be entered into a raffle for awesome prizes!  See the poster in your classroom for more details.  And remember - if you collect all 6 cards, you earn a free t-shirt!
(If you are interested in becoming a part of Delta, stay tuned – applications will be available next week.)

Fall play auditions for grades 7-12 will be September 20th in the Forum room at 3:30, and again at 7pm. Performance dates are November 12th at 7pm and November 13th at 1pm. Rehearsals will be every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7-8:30pm starting October 4th. Please bring a list of any conflicts. Thank you!

New Recycling Procedures at Chatfield High School:
Recycling procedures explained: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dKzldSzXkH6yqtZBuGZsku0x-Qm38Lch/view
The goal of the new recycling project is to make students and staff aware of the type and amount of trash they personally generate in a day and how it impacts our community and our planet.  There are two new recycling stations – one across from the LINC near the Art room entrance and the other at the bottom of the ramp near the cafeteria.  We would like to implement some new recycling practices:

1-     The blue rectangular bins in the classrooms and offices will now be for PAPER AND CARDBOARD ONLY.

2-     Plastic bottles and aluminum cans need to go in the correct recycling station container (not the blue bins).

In addition to the new stations, there are also new signs above the dumpsters in the garbage area.  Please be mindful of which dumpsters contain each different kind of recyclable material.  If a dumpster is contaminated with trash or the wrong kind of material, the entire dumpster must go to landfill.

Senior High Announcements (9-12):

Seniors

There are raffle tickets available to sell if anyone is able to pick them up and get selling. Remember that every ticket sold helps each senior add more money to his/her account. Please get your unsold tickets in so someone else might be able to sell them. All money and tickets need to be in now if you are done selling.
