FLU vaccine for CHS students and staff
Tuesday, October 12, 2021
9:00 a.m. – Noon
You can pick up and return your sheet to the HS office.
All vaccine sheets need to be turned in no later than Friday, October 8 at noon.
Reminder: Picture retakes are TODAY, Thursday, September 16th 7:30-10:30am in the Multipurpose Room.
Students will be called down by grade.
Region 8 FFA Fall Leadership Day is back in person and will be held Thursday 9/23 during the school day. All students in grades 7-12 are eligible to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn more about FFA and build leadership skills. Please see Ms Fritz this week if you are interested in attending and she will get you the rest of the details. Register early to get your choice in business tours offered that day
Any students interested in learning more about the following fall FFA judging contests please see Ms Fritz for more details - General Livestock, Horse, Dairy, Poultry, Soils, Forestry - additional contests will be coming later in the year

Delta applications are now available! Delta is a group made up of students and teachers who are working together to positively influence the culture and relationships at our school. We want to create positive change, make all students feel welcome, and recognize the accomplishments of our CHS community. We are responsible for G.O.P.H.E.R. cards, staff question of the month, the military recognition wall, Holiday Hooplah Week, the Gopher Podcast, and so much more. Senior High Announcements (9-12):
Attention 10th Grade:
Jostens Ring orders will be in the cafeteria Friday morning before school.
Current MHS members can pick up an Officer Application for the 2021-2022 school year in Mrs. Gathje’s room. Applications are due Tuesday September 21 at 3:10 pm.
There will be a Minnesota Honor Society (MHS) Meeting on Wednesday September 22 at 3:10 pm in Mrs. Gathje’s room for election of officers and brief overview of this year’s service opportunities.
SADD will meet monthly on Mondays at lunch time starting next Monday (9/20).
History Day meetings will be Tuesdays after school (3:10-3:30).
Juniors: If you missed out on signing up to work concessions to help pay for your senior class trip, there are still a few spots left that need to be filled.
See Ms. Adams by Friday, Sept. 17th to sign up and see what is available.

Senior Class Trip Students: ALL TICKETS SOLD OR UNSOLD need to be turned by NOON TODAY, THURSDAY, SEP 16. ( Reminder that you are responsible for any lost tickets.)
10th GRADERS! PSAT TESTING IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13. You must sign up by WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6! Cost of test is $15. Signup sheet and test prep booklets are on table outside of counseling office. Any questions, see Mrs. Duxbury

We are selling Huey's Pizza’s!! Sales Slips are here. If you would like to sell Huey's Pizzas, please stop by the Counseling office and grab a sales sheet.
Money is collected as you sell the pizzas. All money and order sheets are due the Wednesday September 29.

These are broke out into two different categories-high school and general. These sessions will inform participants how the school works, programs offered, financial aid information, as well as resources for students enrolled. If you are not able to attend the one that fits you best, feel free to join the other. The information is largely the same but we tailor some info to the audience.
