Congratulations to Logan Johnson, Elijah Lawson, Stephanie Bradt, and Michael Hrstka for winning the Knowledge Bowl Conference Championship.

 

The Drama Club lock-in will be held on Friday, May 15th at Potter Auditorium. Interested persons should email Rachel Schieffelbein at rachelmarybean(at)yahoo.com.

 

The Minnesota Engineering Project “Space Exploration Chain Reaction Machine” Team will work after school every day this week until 5:00. 

 

It’s the event of the year! Yes, it is time for the Teachers vs. Students Basketball Showdown
Sports and Spirit Club invites you to attend the games on March 13th! Students play at 6pm and the winners play the teachers at 7pm
Make sure to check out the teams posted in the ramp to the cafeteria and vote for the student team you think will win.

 

Trap Registrations are due March 20th.   Registration forms are available in the Activities Office.   Meat Sales forms & money must be turned into the Activities Office by the 3:00 on Friday.

 

Open Gym is over for the season.   See you next year!

Freshmen Tutoring: Freshmen Tutoring during Flex Time will be in Miss Virgin’s room for the next 2 weeks.

Thursday March 12 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Service Club will be hosting Empty Bowls in the High School Cafeteria, come enjoy a free bowl of soup!

 

If you are playing a spring sport and missed the Informational Meeting last week, please go see Mr. Eppen.

 

ACT Prep – For the next two weeks, Mr. DeBuhr will be offering ACT Preparation Help during Flex Time, Monday through Thursday.  The juniors will take the ACT on March 24th.

JUNIORS/SENIORS:  North Dakota State University (NDSU) will be here on Thursday, March 12 at 2PM.  Sign up on the form on the counseling office door if you want to visit with the admissions rep.


Attention Those Interested in Teaching!!
On Monday April 20, from 9:45-12:30, St Mary’s University in Winona is having a Future Teacher Day.
Any students grades 9-12 who have even a mild interest in considering teaching as a career are invited.
You can interact with juniors and just what an education class is like.
You will get shown around the campus and talk about college life, have lunch and visit with some who have completed student teaching.
It's short, sweet, and simple.
Saint Mary’s is not trying to recruit; rather they hope to attract people to the profession. 
Sign up by March 31 in the counseling office if interested.
