Congratulations to our Cross Country team and coaches.
Girls just missed winning the conference by 2 points.

 

Attention Student Service Club Members:  We will have a brief meeting after school at 3:10 on Tuesday, 10/26 in Mr. Volker’s room.
We will be finalizing our volunteer crossing guard list for trick-or-treating downtown on Friday, 10/29.

 

It’s time for haunting! Art Club: No Art Club this Wednesday due to MEA. Have a great break!

 

 

Chatfield FFA has launched a Virtual Fun Run/Walk to help #BreaktheStigma on Mental Health.  This event runs until Friday Nov 5 and we will have a Celebration/Memorial on Saturday Nov 6 with a meal and a display where you can artistically memorialize a loved one or yourself  - people who battle or have lost the battle to mental health need to be recognized.  Every participant who signs up receives a medallion and there is an option to purchase a t-shirt if you wish.  Teams can be formed and signed up together.  Adults and Community members are encouraged to sponsor students to help increase participation.  Sign up at the website below

The FFA will be continuing their efforts to promote talking about the struggle and encouraging positive mental health habits in the high school between now and Nov 5.   If you would like to be a part of this planning please let Ms Fritz know.  Anyone can help - we are all in this together 

 

Senior High Announcements (9-12):

Juniors and Seniors: The concession stand is looking for workers for the section football and volleyball games next week. Football on Tuesday and Saturday, Volleyball on Thursday. See Ms. Adams to sign up to work.

There is a great opportunity coming up for you to attend a Careers Fair called Construct Tomorrow, on October 27th at Mayo Civic Center.  Please sign up with Mrs. Duxbury if you are interested in going. Hurry… there is only room for 25. 

 

Drivers Education for students age 14 ½ and older will be Mon-Fri, Oct. 25-Nov. 5,  3:20-6:20 p.m.   Parents join the class on November 5th.   Flyers are available in the Activities Office.  Register at www.EnhancedDrivingInstitute.com.
 

Counselor News:

COLLEGE VISIT – WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY.  A rep will be in the Counseling Office on Friday, October 29 at 1:00pm.  If you wish to attend, sign up on the table outside the counseling office by end of day on October 28.
