All Student Announcements (7-12): 

The nurse is out today, please refrain from coming to the office except for meds.

 

The Gopher Gold Award Application for semester two is now available at the following link: https://forms.gle/DU5VcKDc9JJbDV1x9 . Students that apply will focus on the characteristic of OPTIMISM. Application deadline will be Friday, May 27th and should include personal examples of how you show optimism in your life. The google form is brief and submitted applications will be anonymously given to leaders at Cabin Coffee, Delta’s co-sponsor of this award. Winners receive a gift and their name on a plaque both at school and at Cabin Coffee. Be “optimistic” and try for this wonderful opportunity this week to join past winners Abbi Gillespie, Javier Berg, and Maddie Clemens (our latest Semester 1 winner showing Helpfulness – congrats to Maddie!).”

 

Any 8-11 grade students interested in high school Knowledge Bowl, stop by for a sample practice Wednesday in Mrs. Hanson's room from 3:15-4:15. This is for any past Knowledge Bowl members in grades 8-11 or for any students interested in finding out more about Knowledge Bowl.

 

 

Delta Events Team:  Meetings next week every morning (5/23-5/27) at 7:35 in Mrs.  DeBuhr’s room to prep for the Celebration Assembly.

Counselor News:

The colleges and universities of Minnesota State will waive application fees during “Minnesota State Week,” set for June 21 - 24, 2022. It’s a great time for your students who haven’t decided what they will do after graduation this spring to explore one or more of the 54 campuses that are part of Minnesota State.

Extracurricular Activities:

This will be a busy week with Sub-Section events and tournaments starting.  Good Luck to all our student-athletes and teams.

Home Section events are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.  No passes work as these are section events.  We are hosting both softball and baseball this week.
