Hello, my name is Staff Sergeant Ashley Gartner, I am the Minnesota Army National Guard representative for your high school. Most students pick either one of three options after high school: college, the workforce, or military service. Did you know that you can do all three by joining the National Guard?
Are you planning on going to a 4 YEAR UNIVERSITY after high school? Have you ever heard of ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corp)?? ROTC gives you that chance to serve part-time while going to college full-time at the exact same time. Being part of the ROTC can get you the following benefits based on the program/ route you take:

*            $18,000 YEARLY COLLEGE TUITION PAID

*            $420/MONTH STIPEND

*            ROOM AND BOARD

*            BOOK STIPEND
These are some of the benefits that you can receive by joining the MN Army National Guard and being part of the ROTC program. By joining as a Senior in high school you DO NOT have to go through Basic Training this summer, you will go straight to college. If this sounds like something that you would be interested in and want to get more information on how to apply, please either call/text 612-718-0080 or email ashley.m.gartner3.mil@army.mil.

JUNIORS – If you want a copy of your ACT scores, see Mrs. Dudek in the counseling office.
