All Student Announcements (7-12):

The initial meeting for the spring Trap Team is Thursday, February 6th, 6:30 p.m. in the Forum Room.   Students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend to find out more information about the Trap Team.   There will be a discussion regarding the upcoming fundraiser (meat sales).  By participating in the fundraiser, participants will reduce the amount of the registration fee, which is $160 for the season.   Parents & students who are considering joining the trap team should plan on attending this meeting – this includes past participants.     Registration information will be available at the meeting.   Please note – participants must have completed gun safety training.

 

The Chatfield High school student Senate is excited to announce 
 Snow Week 2020 Feb 10-14th

Monday, Feb. 10th - White Out
Tuesday, Feb. 11th - Timber Tuesday
Wednesday, Feb. 12th - Summer vs Winter
Thursday, Feb. 13th - Denim Day
Friday, Feb. 14th - Valentine's (Pink and Red)
 9th - 12th graders the Snowball dance will be February 15th,  
from 8-11, with DJ Tony. The cost is $5. 

 

Valentines cookies will be sold at lunch Monday -Thursday for $1.50, students can send their friends/valentine a sweet treat to be delivered Friday.

 


The Speech team placed third overall for Large Teams in Saturday’s meet. Overall, this is how each student placed.

Both of Ms. Fritz flex periods are closed for Wednesday, February 5
 

There is a senior high knowledge bowl meet on Wednesday. The bus will leave at 8:20. Please let Mrs. Bren know if you are unable to attend.

BE A STUDENT ELECTION JUDGE TRAINEE! With approval of your parents and school, students 16+ can work in the polling place on Election Day – and get paid!

RCTC is holding an open house in their surgical tech lab on Wednesday, February 26 from 3-4 p.m.  Students will be able to see a hands-on demonstration of surgical instruments, scrub in for surgery, and visit with instructors.

Juniors:  Apply to Camp College today!
Saint Mary’s University is offering a summer camp July 27-29. They will help you match your interests to a college . You will learn how to write your application, apply for financial aid, and tour multiple college campuses. 
Applications are open from February 10-April 17.

Middle School Announcements (7-8): 

The Regional Spelling Bee will be held on February 11, 2020 at Southeast Service Cooperative in Rochester.  Good Luck: Carly Backen and Nick Long.

 

The Middle School Snow tubing field trip will be held on Feb. 13th – Thursday.
