New Recycling Procedures at Chatfield High School:
Recycling procedures explained: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dKzldSzXkH6yqtZBuGZsku0x-Qm38Lch/view
The goal of the new recycling project is to make students and staff aware of the type and amount of trash they personally generate in a day and how it impacts our community and our planet.  There are two new recycling stations – one across from the LINC near the Art room entrance and the other at the bottom of the ramp near the cafeteria.  We would like to implement some new recycling practices:

1-     The blue rectangular bins in the classrooms and offices will now be for PAPER AND CARDBOARD ONLY.

2-     Plastic bottles and aluminum cans need to go in the correct recycling station container (not the blue bins).

In addition to the new stations, there are also new signs above the dumpsters in the garbage area.  Please be mindful of which dumpsters contain each different kind of recyclable material.  If a dumpster is contaminated with trash or the wrong kind of material, the entire dumpster must go to landfill.
