February is “I Love to Read” month! If you are interested in getting book recommendations from others, shelf talkers are little signs on the bookshelves saying why someone recommends a book or series. If you are interested in recommending a book or series to others, contact Mrs. Little with title, author, and 8-10 words saying why you liked it.

 

Senior High Announcements (9-12):

The ASVAB pretest information meeting that was scheduled for March 2 is cancelled. 
 

All juniors will be reporting to the Forum room to do their prep work for the ACT on Tuesday during Access time after attendance is taken.  If you bring in a signed parent note stating that you will not be taking the ACT, you will not have to report to the Forum.  Anyone else is expected to be there. The ACT test will be taken on March 7 starting at 8:10 in the Multipurpose room.

The City of Chatfield is taking applications for lifeguards and office/concession workers for the 2023 pool season.  Lifeguard applicants must be 15 years of age by June 3, 2023. Lifeguard Certification classes will be available May 27-29.  Applications can be picked up at city hall, Chatfield High Counselor’s Office, or can be found on the city website at https://link.edgepilot.com/s/87a90d61/mBezKqICvkWJ6P5IclpI4Q?u=http://www.ci.chatfield.mn.us/.

Applications are due back by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2023.

SENIORS DOING SCHOLARSHIP!  Check your email! You were sent the HONORED CLASS OF 1988 scholarship application on Thursday, Feb 9.  If you want hardcopy stop in the counseling office.

JUNIOR GIRLS:  American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State will be held June 11-17, 2023, at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Chatfield’s American Legion Auxiliary would LOVE to sponsor one or two girls to attend this. If interested, see Terri Dudek for contact information. Deadline to register is March 31. An email was sent to all junior girls with Girls State information.
