All Student Announcements (7-12):

Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 31, at 1:30.  More specific information will be given tomorrow.

Hello everybody, as the school year is coming to an unconventional ending, DELTA would like to invite all of you to send in a video of yourself and tell us something you miss. The things you miss can deal with school or just something you miss about everyday life. Responses can be sincere or sarcastic. Please email your response to Mr. Slowiak at zslowiak@chatfieldschools.com by Wednesday, May 13th. We miss all of you, and cannot wait to hear what you miss!

Chatfield Senior High School has decided to recognize their Senior class with a daily Senior Spotlight. These Seniors have been nothing short of exceptional members of the Chatfield School and will leave a positive and long-lasting impact on the school, staff, and culture at Chatfield.  These Senior Spotlights will give the community of Chatfield a little glimpse into who some of these Seniors are, and what we can expect from them in the future.

Teagan Allen...

Teagan Allen is the next senior to be spotlighted! Two people that Teagen admires are her parents because they have always been supportive of her goals and taught her how to work hard at everything she does. While in high school, Teagen has a long list of awards and recognition.

She is the Student Senate Vice President, the Minnesota Honor Society Secretary, and has been named All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention in volleyball and softball.

Teagen's hobbies include playing volleyball and softball, being a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Service Club, and participating in the Chosen Valley Community Foundation. Next year, Teagen will be attending Mankato State University to major in either Health Science or Business. Ten years from now, Teagen hopes to have an amazing job with a house near a beach and travel to new places. Teagen, thank you for all your hard work, and contributions to Chatfield High School. We will miss you! Always remember your words of wisdom, "Look for something positive in each day, have courage, and be kind." We are excited to hear your success stories! Good luck and Go Gophers!

Chance Backer...

Chatfield's next senior loves football, hunting, fishing, and camping. That senior is Chance Backer. While at Chatfield, he left quite a legacy. Chance was a two-time All-Conference football player, a Honorable Mention All-Conference football player, the South East White Division Defensive Football Player of the Year, and was Third Team All-State in football. In Track and Field, Chance was All-Conference, All-State, and a State participant in Track and Field in 2019.
Chance enjoys the book Reflections From the North Country by Sigurd F. Olson. Somebody Chance admires is his grandpa. Chance said his grandfather taught him a lot about the world, how to work hard, and how to be the best person he can be. Next year, Chance will be attending Winona State University to major in Environmental Science and to continue his football career. Ten years from now, Chance wants to have a career that relates to the outdoors and own a forty-acre plot of land that is great for hunting. Thank you for all the memories Chance, we cannot wait to watch you succeed on and off the field at WSU! Good luck and Go Gophers!
