All Student Announcements (7-12):
Are you a history person, or just a genius? If so, during lunch throughout the week, grades will be competing for the Chronology trophy. If you are interested in competing, please get a team together (teams must be between 2-6 members). Come show off your knowledge! Below are the days each grades will be competing.

Sign up with Ms Fritz if you are interested in attending the MN FFA Day at the Capitol March 3 to talk to our legislators and see the capitol – Leave time 6am – back by 3 – official dress and money for lunch – please let Ms Fritz know by Feb 21 if you want to attend.
Art Club Students: If you ordered a T-Shirt they are printed and ready to pick up! Stop by and talk to Ms. Potter to get yours.
Congrats to the following students for taking home 2nd place during Friday's Academic Triathlon meet: Nick Long, Henry Worden, Ella Dammen and Emily Fitzgerald. Way to go!

Snow Week 2020 Feb 10-14th

Friday, Feb. 14th - Valentine's (Pink and Red)
9th - 12th graders the Snowball dance will be February 15th,
from 8-11, with DJ Tony. The cost is $5.
Valentines cookies will be sold at lunch Monday -Thursday for $1.50, students can send their friends/valentine a sweet treat to be delivered Friday.

Senior High Announcements (9-12):
The following students need to meet with Mrs. O’Connor, School Business Manager, in the High School Conference Room, during flex time, today (2/11) to review employee information:
Cael Bartels, Maddi Clemens, Alexandria Crawford, Owen Dammen, Elma Erding, Gabe Erding, and Rebecca Fox. Bring your laptop with you.

Snowball Dance registration forms are in the front office and the deadline to turn in is Wednesday, February 12th
Math League – Congratulations to the Chatfield Math League Team on an excellent season! We placed 5th in the Three Rivers Division.
Also, a special congratulations to Katie Ihrke who placed in the top ten of the division for individual scores!
The Senior High Knowledge Bowl Team will compete at Sub-Sectionals on Thursday, February 13. The bus will leave at 7:45 sharp. Be sure to pack your lunch.
Flex Time Change: MHS and Service Club are switching their meeting times this month. Service Club will meet this coming Tuesday, February 11. MHS will be meeting on February 18. Please see Mr. Slowiak or Mrs. Bren with questions!

RCTC is holding an open house in their surgical tech lab on Wednesday, February 26 from 3-4 p.m. Students will be able to see a hands-on demonstration of surgical instruments, scrub in for surgery, and visit with instructors.

Juniors: Apply to Camp College today!
Saint Mary’s University is offering a summer camp July 27-29. They will help you match your interests to a college . You will learn how to write your application, apply for financial aid, and tour multiple college campuses.
Applications are open from February 10-April 17.

The Regional Spelling Bee will be held on February 11, 2020 at Southeast Service Cooperative in Rochester. Good Luck: Carly Backen and Nick Long.
Because of frigid temperatures forecasted for Thursday the snow tubing trip has been postponed until Monday, February 24th.
