Attention Students: Trick or Treating for Canned Goods
Service Club is holding the opportunity to Trick or Treat for donated canned goods. On Halloween, Oct. 31st, meet at the high school at 6:30 pm. We will separate into groups to collect cans for the food shelf from different neighborhoods.

Attention Student Service Club If you have signed up to serve as a Halloween Crossing Guard, be sure to meet by the high school office on Monday, October 31st at 2:30 PM. Students that have signed up are excused from class at 2:25. The event ends around 5 PM. Thanks!

 

The Chatfield Winter Sports online apparel store is live and open for business – hosted by Threads. We are featuring multiple designs supporting Basketball, Wrestling and Dance. A variety of apparel options for athletes, families and fans.

This online store will be open throughout the season and all items are made-to-order. This allows us to get the apparel out faster for those who order earlier. At the end of the season Threads will donate 10% of proceeds of sales generated for each athletic program!
 

Students interested in joining the wrestling team can sign up outside Mr. Eppen’s office.

 

Halloween Dress-Up Contest: Delta is having a dress-up contest this Monday and would like to invite each of you to dress up for Halloween. Dressing up is completely optional but if you do, you will be entered for a chance to win some amazing prizes! There will be a photo op area in the cafeteria and QR codes all over for you to submit your photos!

Dress-up guidelines.

  • No full-face paint.
  • No masks.
  • No weapons, real or fake.
  • No costumes that prevent a student from engaging in classroom activities or sitting in a desk.
  • No costumes that are disruptive to the educational environment.
  • No costumes that mock or marginalize other people based on race, political beliefs, economic condition, perceived or real disability, sexuality, or gender identity; or mimics a member of our school community.

Senior Girls: Please return your cheerleading uniforms to Mrs. Thompson or Mr. Eppen ASAP

 

Counselor News:

November 1st is the deadline for signing up outside the counselor’s office!! Any female interested in attending the Women Exploring Trades, Technology and Transportation Day at Minnesota State College Southeast next Thursday November 3. If you have questions see Mrs. Duxbury

 

COLLEGE VISIT! Juniors & Seniors, a rep from Luther College in Decorah, IA will be here on Thursday, November 3 at 10AM.  Sign up on the table outside the counseling office.
 

JUNIORS & SENIORS – Sign up outside the counseling office to meet with a rep from VITERBO UNIVERSITY – La Crosse, on MONDAY, OCTOBER 24 at 12:30!

 

Middle School Announcements (7-8):

Junior high knowledge bowl  will practice this Tuesday at 7:45 AM in Mrs. Hanson's room. See you there!
